Welcome Film Lovers:

As Benjamin Franklin noted “All would live long, None would be old.” Through the artistry of our filmmakers and your viewing participation, we want to change that concept to an exploration of how to grow older meaningfully, not fearfully.

We are delighted to present ten days of shorts and full-length films—mostly documentaries—from around the world, showcasing the fullness of growing older—a process both profound and challenging.

Our mission remains unchanged from our beginnings in 2011: Present an annual film festival that inspires, entertains and educates intergenerational audiences about the variety of later life experiences—the triumphs and the challenges. Following many of the individual films, we’ve added brief pre-recorded interviews of the filmmakers and/or key personnel.

The Festival is brought to you through the passion and tireless labor of the following folks:

Sheila Malkind — Executive Director, Founder

The Film Programming Team: Arlene Reiff, Film Curator & Sally Gelardin
